Kyle Svetich is currently a student at Illinois Media School in Chicago, Illinois. He is currently lives in a small little town in Indiana called Roselawn. He also has 5 years in the Army Reserves out of a 6 year contract. Kyle is looking to do sports broadcasting either in front of the camera, on the radio, or behind the scenes. He also does a radio sports show at IMS with a group of guys, and has his own podcast shows on Spreaker.

Where did Kyle get his start in the interest of media? Well first he was born May 6, 1996 in Indiana. He has played sports all his life and he wanted to be apart of sports either playing it, coaching it, or broadcasting it. First, Kyle graduated from North Newton high school in Morocco Indiana, where he got his high School Diploma. Out of high school he didn’t know what he wanted to do so he enlisted in the Army Reserves, He didn’t go active because he wanted to stay close to home. After coming back from Basic Training, Kyle got a coaching opportunity at his former high school. He coached for 4 years, 1 year in middle school football, 3 year of High school footbal, High school wrestling 2 years, middle school wrestling for 3 years, High school baseball for 1 years and 2 years of high school softball. But, after procrastinating for 4 years he needed to start going to school.

What does Kyle see for his Future? He started attending Illinois Media school for one purpose and that was to be a play-by-play sports announcer. He wants to do play-by-play for either the Chicago White Sox or The Chicago Blackhawks either radio or TV. Now, Kyle is keeping an open mind on everything he is learning and may seek to do something else that involves sports. He would like to make it big enough to do podcast from home so when or if he has a family he can be at home to take care of the kids and work at home. The one thing Kyle will always enjoy is the ability to learn something new everyday, and willing to step out of the box and try to do something different.
